The Selfie War
Dog selfies are becoming increasingly popular on Twitter, but how popular? Well currently the most re-tweeted picture is the selfie from Ellen DeGeneres, who hosted Sunday night’s Oscar’s (Academy Awards ceremony) with 3.3 million retweets and growing!! It reached 4000 retweets within seconds.
The picture it is competing with includes Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper and Brad Pitt. It is now being challenged by Terry Shipman’s in what is becoming known as the retweet war. Terrys accomplicres are a poodle and a Yorkie, called Oreo and Max, seen posing on the back of the sofa. This dog selfie has achieved 75,000 retweets, a very long way off but time will tell !
