Angel Fish
Tropical fish come in many shapes and sizes, what is more they come in a massive variety of colours. The colour is a deliberate attempt to out do its rivals for the attention of a mate, but being noticed is a danger on a coral reef teeming with predators. Fresh water Angel fish can be found in the Amazon and Orinocho Rivers, they ambush other small fish and invertebrates and lay their eggs on logs or vegetation, then look after their offspring with considerable care. Marine Angel fish are larger and can reach 60cm, (2 ft) long.
